The Union Jack is flown at half mast in memory and respect of the death of The Duke Of Edinburgh, Prince Philip.
Parish Chairman Phil Parsons expressed his gratitude for the role of the Prince:
“How rare an event to mourn a life which has impacted such a diverse group of people. From grandma and grandads to teenagers. Notably his role in setting up the Duke of Edinburgh Awards. Many a young and older person living within this parish would have taken part in this challenge. I’m sure we would all wish to express our condolences to Her Majesty during this time of mourning.”
