Flag flies at full mast for Queen’s birthday

The flag was flying again at St Paternus Church to celebrate the 95th birthday of her majesty Queen Elizabeth II.  Less than a week after saying goodbye to her beloved husband Prince Philip, the Queen has thanked us all for showing such sympathy to both her and the family.

Today is also St George’s Day and Shakespeare’s birthday.

On Wednesday evening, the Annual Parish Meeting was held online. Several local parish groups, churches, and various organisations had their reports read or presented. Parish Chairman Phil Parsons wishes to extend his thanks to all those groups and societies who organise and run things for the benefit of the community.
